The goal of the project was to ensure the existing WWTP in agglomerations exceeding 2 000 PE comply with Directive 91/271/EEC concerning urban waste water treatment. In one case, a new WWTP was built. Furthermore, a new sewerage system of approx. 25 km was built, which will connect another 4 600 inhabitants, and about 18 km of the currently defective system will be repaired. The drinking water sub-project includes interconnecting the group water supply system Lednice with the group water supply system Dolní Dunajovice and modernising the drinking water treatment plant in Lednice.
